While realizing ACM welds, HM will push ACM hex elements which are too close to an edge based on the diameter specified. In such cases the location of the weld is changed without users notice. Now usually users like this however if they want to share the connectors file with a supplier, other users who dont use HM or even for the purpose of updating the correct location file for design engineer this script comes in handy. This will highlight failed connector which can be exported and provided to design engineer to fix the location in the database.
Usage/Installation Instructions
Launch the utility.
Enter typical weld diameter and projection tolerance that you would use in spot realization.
Select connectors and click on proceed. It will highlight connectors which are too close to edge of a flange to update the location.
