Digital Twin Technology and its potential to create and test thousands of models and assemblies before even manufacturing a single part is what blows my mind. It will unleash the full creative potential of engineers and allow them to throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks without spending a dime on a physical prototype. I want to get my hands dirty with this technology and learn how I can use it for my projects and ideas. I think the Global Twin Contest is the perfect way to do that and I thank Altair for providing us with this opportunity.

I am a junior at the University of Michigan studying Aerospace Engineering. I am really excited to participate in this contest because I’ll have the opportunity to learn new software skills that are essential to my development as an engineer. It also just blows my mind that engineers today can create an extremely accurate simulation of a system before ever assembling it in the real world, and I’d like to get better at that. I appreciate the opportunity!

Hello everyone! I am a 2nd-year student at the University of Florida, studying mechanical and aerospace engineering. I am most excited about the opportunity to learn how to use Altair for the purposes of demonstrating and adapting my understanding of controls. But I am also equally excited to understand the potential of Digital Twin technology to model and develop products, and processes for achieving them.

    Hey Everyone!

I am currently a senior at Purdue University in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Digital twin technology has come leaps and bound, and I see its potential in resolving problems and conducting testing on designs without having a physical prototype. Thank you Altair for this incredible opportunity to get familiarized with new technology.

Hello everyone! I'm João Falleiros, I'm 20 years old and I'm in the 4th year of mechanical engineering at UNICAMP (Campinas, SP, Brazil).

What excites me about this contest is the knowledge I can get from it, learning many of the Altair's software and boosting my studies on digital twin topic. Which in my opinion is one of the biggest advances in Industry 4.0 and companies that don't embrace it, will be left behind.
