New Video: Introduction to Hooks in Altair® PBS Professional®

Altair PBS Professional has a unique customization architecture that allows administrators to install python hooks, triggered by events in the workload manager. There are many events to choose from, on both the server side and on the execution host, making it possible to tune PBS Professional to your exact needs.

In this video you will be introduced to a simple PBS Professional hook. You will learn how to access job attributes from within the hook code and how to install the hook at different hook events. Finally, you will then learn how to test the hook and troubleshoot any problems.
