We are excited to announce the launch of the Altair Global Student Contest 2024, inviting students from all over the world to participate in our Robotics Optimization Challenge! This contest is open to anyone, regardless of age or academic background, who is passionate about robotics and mechatronics.
Participants will have the chance to showcase their skills by optimizing a robotics application of their choice. Whether it's a FIRST Robotics Competition robot, a manufacturing robot, or a battle bot, students must use Altair tools such as Inspire, AI Studio, PSIM, or any other tool from the Student Edition Bundle to enhance their design, to qualify.
To enter, students will create a video showcasing their process and results, upload it to a public platform (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, etc.), and submit the link through the contest submission page: Altair Global Student Contest Submission. Full contest details can be found here: Contest Information.
Exciting Prizes Every Quarter!
The contest runs from October 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, with quarterly submission deadlines. Each quarter, three top entries will win:
- 1st place: $2,000
- 2nd place: $1,000
- 3rd place: $500
Special Opportunities for FRC Teams & Student Ambassadors
In addition, participants can submit a short testimonial video explaining why they love working with Altair tools. The top videos will win one of the following:
- 3 FIRST Robotics Team Sponsorships worth $5,000 each
- 3 Altair Student Ambassadorships valued up to $1,000
