End of Life (EoL) Statement for Altair Panopticon Java SDK, .NET SDK, and Designer for Windows Products

Altair strives to deliver innovative products that create value for our customers, and as such periodically releases new products or product versions. Therefore, as part of a product's lifecycle, older product versions eventually reach their natural end of life. Our goal is to make this process as transparent as possible to our customers and partners, thereby enabling them to plan for upgrades and migrations toward supported product versions.

Definitions

End of Sales: This is the date after which the product will no longer be available for purchase.

End of Maintenance: This date marks the start of the product retirement period. From this date forward, the product will no longer maintained by maintenance builds.  We will  continue to offer help desk support for a period of 12 months (unless otherwise stated) or until End of Support date, whichever comes first. During this period, we will answer questions and assist customers with the transition to the new product version. To address problems encountered with a product in End of Maintenance, the customer must upgrade to the current generally available version of the product if an existing maintenance build or workaround is not available.

End of Support: Technical support for the product will no longer be available after this date. Customers may continue to use the product version after we have announced the End of Support date, but we will not be able to fix bugs or engage in technical support requests. We encourage all customers to upgrade to the GA version as soon as possible.
