HyperWorks 2022.3 Release Highlights for Implicit Interface

In this release we have significant enhancements providing new model setup workflows for Thermal analysis and Optimization in OptiStruct interface:

• OptiStruct thermal cards migrated to appropriate HM entities for ease of thermal analysis setup
  • CHBDYE, CONV, PCONV are migrated to Set segment, Load, Property entities respectively
  • Improved workflow through browser and ribbon
• Set entity enhanced to support Boolean operator 
  • SET card enhanced with subtype boolean operator
  • Boolean options available for  SET_GRID and SET_ELEM types
• OSSMOOTH migrated from panel to controller workflow under Optimize ribbon
  • New controller based workflow accessible from ribbon
  • No more panel dependencies
• Gauge and Shape optimization setup migrated from panel to controller workflow under Optimization ribbon
  • New controller based workflow accessible from ribbon
  • No more panel dependencies
• Drive Mapping is now supported on Export of solver decks, allowing users to work with solver decks across operating systems
