Hello Everyone,

Please find the below newly added features which will be available in the next SimLab release (SimLab 2024.1).

Electronics

3D IC: Electronics > Tools > Chip
- Following enhancements are done in the 3D IC tool.
  - Electronics thermal solution will be automatically created with heat source and convection boundary conditions.
  - Heat source can be defined to the chiplets and modules.
  - Materials can be assigned to microbumps and for other components.
  - Option added to create the Substrate.

Solution: Random Response

Solver: OptiStruct

Results Request: Random Response Solution > Settings
- For random response solution, strain output can be requested from the specified set.

Tools

Browser Columns: Solutions > Export > Solver Input File
- Added support to assign the Node and Element ID for models.

Note: In SimLab 2024, the Start ID assignment was supported only for sub-models and bodies.
