We have an upcoming Instructor-Led Training offering about “Introduction to S-FRAME”.

Training Objectives:

  • Getting familiar with S-FRAME’s capabilities, interface, and basic tools
  • Creating 2D models to learn the use of grids and coordinate systems to define members and geometry
  • Creating 3D models from scratch and with the framework generator to define member properties and boundary conditions, and dive deeper into folder organization and user coordinate systems for modeling
  • Defining loading scenarios for structures to create load cases and combinations with different types of loads
  • Performing analyses for the post-processing of graphical and numerical results for deflections, forces, and more
  • Introducing steel and concrete design based on the analysis results through S-FRAME’s add-on tools (S-STEEL and ICD)
  • Visualizing the structure’s behavior in greater detail with customizable animations via S-VIEW
  • Getting familiar with the help resources and documentation inside and outside of S-FRAME, like the Altair Community, the eLearning Center, and Altair’s YouTube channel
