No updating of the Types/Requests/Components or the chart in Hypegraph

Hi all,

When I'm working in Motionview and I add for example an output with some parameters to evaluate, I open the .abf file in Hypergraph and commonly the Output Expressions, the values or or the new names in case of renamed some Expression before are not updated (or don't appear yet) and I need to open first a different abf fyle, open again the desired .abf fyle and then the Expressions, etc appears or are updated, but not at first time.

What's the origin of this problem?

    Hi Carlos,

When you analyzed the model did you use the same run name? Sometimes HyperWorks memory holds onto the previous information contained in the plot file. By reselecting the output file will refresh the information contained. If possible, I would suggest to run the model with different run names.

    Hi Christopher,

Do you mean to change the name each time that you run the simulation?

    Thanks!

    Hi Carlos,

Yes the Run name in the Motion Analysis. Attaching an screenshot on how I label my runs. I usually like to use "rev" or "ver" and sometimes include what major change is done. For example updating the simulation time or changing the preload on a spring. image
