Hello Team,

I like to print Section parameters for bolt analysis.

I tried and working for preload sections and printing parameters of interest except area change at each increment in .secres file . I am looking for multiple sections at bolt but just defining section and not as preload section also looking to include 'area change' at each increment. Also if defined multiple preload sections with null preload, throwing error and terminating the job.

Can you please extend your support and help on where I need to define sections and where I need to ask output?

The equivalent option in abaqus is *SECTION PRINT

Hi Deepak,

You can create many sections in HW and you will be able to see the results for each section in the .out file.
However, despite the section + .out file being enough, you can use the FBD tool in the HV session as well. So, in the OptiStruct model, you have to ask first for GPFORCE with USE: FBD.
