Hello,

I am a 4th year student at Western University in London, Ontario. I am currently attempting to gain access to S-Concrete to design concrete walls for our capstone project. Our professor provided us with a link to register for student access which I completed and received an email confirming my approval. In the email there is two links; 1 for activating the software and 1 for download. I am doing this all on our school computers that uses windows because I have a mac. When I follow the first link for activation of the software, it gives me instructions on windows to go to settings and access the advanced system settings. When I click on this it takes me to a separate screen that asks me "do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device" and asks me to continue with an admin user with UWO (my university) domain.  I enter my school login info and an error comes up in red stating "the requested operation requires elevation". So I tried skipping this step and going right to the download link but once again when I try running the download, the same screen pops up and asks me the same question. I'm confused on what to do, would someone be able to help me? My professor told me to contact someone on here to resolve the issue.

Thanks,

Matthew Memme
