OptiStruct Output Nodal Forces and Moments

Hello,

The question that I have is how to output nodal forces and moments at nodes using OptiStruct.

In Abaqus, NFORC is the output for nodal forces and moments and it can show the element contribution.  For example, if two elements share a node, then NFORC can output the nodal forces at that node (of course zero because of balance) and the contribution from each element.

I think OptiStruct should have the similar variable output? I tried GPFORCE which are grid point balance and are zero everywhere in my h3d file.  This makes sense because of internal balance.

But how can I see the corresponding element contribution?

Thank you for your response.

    Hi Shengjia,

Can you please try reading the h3d file using HyperGraph? You should see more components like the below.

    Thanks.

    Hi Shengjia,

For element force you can request for ELFORCE in Optistruct.

Follow the below link for more information on this.

    FORCE / ELFORCE (altair.com)

    Thanks...

The answer is GP force and use corner data as shown in the attached figureimage
