What is the .rs file generated from OptiStruct?

Hello,

I am running OptiStruct nonlinear static analysis with large deformation on.  Because my computer memory is not big enough, it use disk for out-of-core solution.

I notice during the running, OptiStruct generated two types of file, one is .rs file and another is mumps file.

I am pretty sure the mumps files are used to store stiffness matrix and they will be erased and created for every iteration during the running.

My question is what is the .rs file? I attached a screenshot for these .rs files.  During the run, OptiStruct generates bunch of these .rs file.  They are very big and finally eats all of my disk and the running is stopped due to 

*** FATAL ERROR # 8111 ***  This is likely caused by insufficient disk space.

    They are optistruct scratch files I think, also used during the run for storage
