I have a set of stress vs strain for a non-linear elastic-plastic material. How may I create a material in radioss for the same?

I have used M36_PLAS_TAB and input the data in fct_ID_E, but the solver is showing following error:

ERROR ID : 975
** ERROR IN MATERIAL FUNCTION DEFINITION
DESCRIPTION :
YOUNGS MODULUS SCALE FUNCTION SHOULD DECREASE WITH PLASTIC STRAIN

Please try to help ASAP.

Regards,

Rachit

fct_ID_E is used to scale modulus as a function of plastic strain, that isn't what you want I don't think

If you have a material stress/strain curve (this should be true stress vs true plastic strain and should be monotonically increasing) you would enter that as fct_ID1

If you have multiple curves for strain rate dependent data, that can be entered using fct_ID2, fct_ID3 etc along with strain rates 1,2,3 etc
