Export a model status from impact simulation to re-start a simulation in Optistruct

Dear All,

I have a model from dynamic impact simulation.

I would like to export the final status and start a new simulation of fatigue in Optistruct.

Do you think it's possible?

How can I proceed?

    No direct way to do it, You can export solver deck (Optistruct) from HyperView, which will get you the deformed mesh nodal positions, if you have an existing Optistruct model you can read in the deformed mesh you exported with 'FE overwrite' option in Hypermesh and update the nodal locations. Or you can read that mesh into Hypermesh and build an Optistruct model from it. You will be missing stress and strain information from the impact simulation though.
