Altair Student Edition download links troubleshooting tips

There are cases where when you click on the download links in the email, one would just see a tab open and the exe does not download, in such cases

You should copy and paste the links in a different browser and click go
You should open the email in a different browser (if using gmail or yahoo for instance in a browser) and click on the links in the email there
See if your antivirus or other settings are preventing the download of exe
Write to us in the Altair Community here with this issue and we will send you alternate download links.

You can also right click and save link as , when you do this your browser may ask if you want to keep or discard the file, for which you should select the keep option.

Hello,

I tried clicking on the download link that I received via email in different browsers, and copying and pasting the link in different browsers, but I still keep getting the same error message

504 - Gateway Timeout

How can I resolve this? Can you please send me an alternate link for flux download?

Hi Noam,

That issue was fixed, you should be able to download the software using the links on the license email now,

You should copy (right click on link and copy link) and paste the download links in a different browser (like edge or firefox) and click go
You should open the email in a different browser (if using gmail or yahoo for instance in a browser) and click on the links in the email there

Hello,

I still cannot download the Software from the Email-links. I tried with Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Safari on Mac. I received the Email with the links some days ago. Can you send me alternative links?

We sent you the same links as a pdf, can you send us snapshots of what you see when you try to download in firefox or edge ? have you tried copying and pasting the link in another tab?
