When performing fluid-structure interaction analysis with RADIOSS, is it solved using an explicit method?

Yes, in Radioss it is solved through explicit method.

Radioss is an explicit solver generally and this is true for FSI simulation too!
You can only found specific applications were the implicit solution is used and all are sum-up in the following link:
https://help.altair.com/hwsolvers/rad/topics/solvers/rad/implicit_solutions_intro_engine_r.htm
In all other cases the solution is explicit!
