How to realize the coupling of EDEM 2018 with Fluent 2022R1 on linux?
Dear every one:
I am currently having difficulty compiling the coupling interface on linux. I have referred to the document 'EDEM Fluent Coupling Compilation Linux' in the folder 'edem_coupling_build'. I used SCons to realize the coupling of EDEM 2018 with Fluent 2022R1 on linux. At first, it seemed to compile successfully as shown in the first figure. However, when I read the journal file in Fluent 2022R1, some errors happened as shown in the second and third figures, which may be caused by the problem in C file compilation generation library. And my question is how to fix these errors.
Looking forward to your feedback.

Hi Le
Please try using the new link for the coupling build with the newer versions. EDEM 2018 is very old to get any support.
Also, make sure you have the environment variables defined in your system like this, but for Linux.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,

Thank you a lot for the helpful suggestion. I will check if the environment variables defined in the system are correct. What's more, I find that this newest coupling compiler supports only EDEM 2021.2 or later versions. However, EDEM 2018 is the latest version I can use on Linux. What is the latest version of EDEM running on Linux and how can I get it?
Looking forward to your feedback.

Hi Le
All versions of EDEM is available on Linux systems. The latest EDEM version available right now is EDEM 2024.0. You can get it on Altair Marketplace.
Hope that helps.
