Can Hyperworks cfd map steady state result into transient initial conditions?

Hi all,

 

Can hyperworks cfd can done this process?

I saw that this can be done quickly while using simlab.

    That process in SimLab is able to map/project a previous solution onto a new run - with the possibility of having different meshes.  HyperMesh CFD does not yet have that similar process.  If the mesh is the same, you can use the Restart functionality in HyperMesh CFD.

    Thanks, in HyperWorks CFD, I know it now can map using Acuproj via AcuSolve command line.

    Yes - one would use acuProj to create the NIC files - then manually edit the input file to include the relevant Nodal Initial Condition commands, referring to those NIC files.
