FEK Student Edition V2024.1 Release and Student License key used for previous 2023.1, and need WRAP 2024.1

Technical Support,

First, I would like to thank you for the release/update to the FEKO Student Edition from 2023.1 to 2024.1. I checked the marketplace today and saw that the FEKO Student Edition V2024.1 is now available. I have removed V2023.1, downloaded V2024.1, and installed it successfully.

Note, the WRAP 2024.1 is not installed as you told me before it is a separate software, so I am contacting you for WRAP 2024.1, also the present Student license key I have and used for FEKO Student Edition V2023.1, DID NOT WORK with V2024.1, I just installed, please assist. Thank you.

Feko 2024.1 student edition exe was recalled due to an issue, please download and install version 2024 from the Altair one marketplace which does not have this issue.

I have emailed you the WRAP 2024.1 installation files.

Regarding your license file, can you check step two here https://web.altair.com/altair-student-edition to generate a new license maybe? (I'm not a licensing expert but I hope this helps)

Hi Zeina,

Thanks for the support. First, I have not installed WRAP yet as CADFEKO student license has NOT worked. As per the license, I think it is customized to email(my email), so I could not generate the new license. Any time I visited the Student Edition Bundle, then "Student Edition license" what I saw was the license key that was generated when I registered with my email.

I went to the license folder in my computer Program file, deleted it, and then came back and followed the license activation process. The process was successful as it says: Activation Successful, but loading the FEKO, it gave a license error see attached for the error display and upon quitting the app closes.

Note, I scrambled the license key as I do not know if my email is being viewed to the public apart from Tech support.

Please assist. Thank you

Hi Dejo,

I see that you have mentioned the license issue in your questions under "Altair Academic Forum"
They should be able to assist you better on that.

Once you sort that out you can install WRAP.

Thanks again. You see I am not sure if my posting is in the Student Forum as you can see the attached, in Altair Products. I have seen a post to the student forum that indicated Altair Academic forum but that was when someone like you passed the question to the student forum. In short, I honestly do not know how to post a question or contact Tech support under the student forum. Anyway, please help me pass this question to the student academic forum so that I can get a quick solution.
