Hi Everybody !

I am doing a transient heat transfer analysis and I would like to get as result SPC Power. I selected in the card control "GLOBAL_OUTPUT_REQUEST" the SPCF and I tried with different formats and options but I did not managed to get it in my result file... Is it possible to have it with a transient heat transfer analysis ? If yes can you help me ?

Thank you !

Mathilde

    Hi @Mathilde.L

SPCF is not available for any Transient run. Only Steady State. Do Element Fluxes helps you, somehow?

    Hi @Adriano A. Koga

Thank you for your answer. I know that I can get Element fluxes but I wanted SPC Power to compare it with the steady state analysis... Do you know if there is another way to get heat flow from the elements fluxes ? (derivated results etc...)

need to try, but maybe results math:

If you take the flux*area, maybe?

But need to think about elemental results for flux vs spc nodal results.

I already try this but it is working with shell elements and I use solid elements. I cannot get the area of solid elements
