Access to SimLab from St Francis HS {ST_70327}

Under my license,( student ) it appears I can not access Simlab . I have the Simlab Introduction 2022; did the webex but could not down load the basic package and it appears I have the Simlab 2022.3 additions - window ; However going into marketplace , I'm denied the basic download as a trial - see attached

Can I get a free trail under my license . According to support I must ask this in the community

Hi,

Kindly register on Altair One using your official university email ID here - https://admin.altairone.com/register and follow the steps mentioned on this webpage - https://web.altair.com/altair-student-edition#license-activation to access SimLab in Altair One Marketplace, which is included in the Student Edition Bundle.

You can also follow this video to get access to the student edition bundle on the Altair One marketplace and successfully activate the license using the activation key - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4_-4MZNF7Y.

Hi Allan,

We have sent you the license file (.dat file) as an attachment via email.

You can use the .dat file to activate your student license. However, please note that, according to the new process, you no longer require a .dat license file to use the software. With our new process, you can generate the license activation key yourself on the Altair One Marketplace. Then, simply copy and paste this key into the license setup window within the software to activate your student license.

Hi Allan,

Please note that you will only be able to access the student edition bundle on the Altair One marketplace when you register using an official university email ID. I can see that you have registered on Altair One using a free domain email, i.e., Gmail, which is why you are unable to see/access the student edition bundle.

Kindly register on Altair One using your official university email ID here - https://admin.altairone.com/register and follow the steps mentioned on this webpage - https://web.altair.com/altair-student-edition#license-activation to access the Student Edition Bundle.
