how to create node to node connection between 2 meshed parts

hello,
i have 2 parts that are 2 mm apart from each other, i can create a new component as adhesive to fill the gap in between, but i need it to connect as node to node connection between the 2 parts

how can i do it? any help will be appreciated.

    You could copy the faces of the two parts and then patch the edges of the gap to eventually make a new solid.

    what solver are you using? OptiStruct?

    If your mesh is aligned, you could use connectors to create node-to-node connection easily, using maybe CGAP elements or CBUSH elements.

    It really depends on what kind of analysis you want to perform and what effects you want.
