Dear Team,

I am performing a Torque Slip analysis in OS-NL. Loads to 2nd loadstep is carry forwarded by Interference fit.

Load Step 1:

Interference fit of clearance -0.5 (No issues)

Load Step 2:

Loads are carry forwarded by CNTNLSUB: Loadstep 1

I am applying torque by SPCD(Enforced displacement 0.5deg in z direction) to rotate the shaft. Shaft is rotating and Interference fit is slipping. I have requested output for GPF and SPCF (H3D,OPTI formats).

Contact Force decreases when Interference fit is being slipped.

But,SPCF Moment Increases, decreases and then increases in every load factors. (Ideal observation is force/pressure should drop when Interference fit disengages). It would be a big favour if you can comment on what this behaviour is all about.  Unable to load results of GPF in Hyperview also (Able to see the normal force decreasing in OPTI format during slip).

Thank you in advance.

    Hello Sir,

I am attaching you the animation file and the keyword file for reference.

I kindly request you to go through SPCF Moments in Hyperview.

    TIP REQUIRED:

SPCF Moment Increases, decreases and then increases in every load factors. (Ideal observation is force/pressure should drop when Interference fit disengages). It would be a big favor if you can comment on what this behaviour is all about.
