With reference to my previous question. I install using hyperworks bundle given in Mail. I can see few applications in start window. But isnt there direct application for Motionview,Hypergraph,Hyperview,etc. Why we have to go through hyperworks to open these applications. I have used Altair 2013,17,19 and 2020 version. And for that, if i go to start menu, i see all the softwares inside. Please let me know if this new update. Also coming back to my main issue, 

I did all the steps mentioned for license. But it still shows error when i open Hyperworks.

I followed following steps:

1. Downloaded license and software using links given in mail(Hyperworks Bundle).

2. Installed software and placed file in Program Files>Altair>security folder. Also created environmental variables.

I also tried earlier to just create variables and then installing altair package.

Note: For both cases, .dat file was never moved after creating variable in advance system settings.

I am also trying to give .dat file location when this error comes after opening. But its still not working. Please help earliest possible.

    The file extension should be named: .dat
    By default, Windows does not always display file extensions like the “.dat” in this name.
    Make sure you do not add a second .dat to the name.
    One common error is the license file is named: dat.dat by mistake.
    You can turn on “View file name extensions” to verify the name is correct.

    The next most common error is that the hostid (Ethernet ID) used has a typo or was the wrong one.

    You need to confirm if the Ethernet address in the license file is the correct one and matches the one in your machine.

    When you open the license file in a text editor you will see an Ethernet address there in a line that says “ETHERNET =

    The Ethernet ID is the ID of your machine which is exactly 12 hexadecimal numbers. For example D4WRF478F398

    Run ipconfig/all in command window and check for physical address under Ethernet adapter local area connection

    The listed physical address under Ethernet adapter local area connection should be used to generate the license file, if there is no listing of Ethernet adapter local area connection, the address under Wireless Adapter LAN Wifi must be used.

    That means if the address provided as above does not match the one in the license file, please request for the license file again with the correct Ethernet ID here https://studentedition.altair.com/

    Its only the Hyperworks 2021 that isnt working and showing license error or sometimes its just a grey window. I just checked with Hyperworks Desktop 2021. And it is work fine atleast when i did my first iteration in Motionview. Any specfic reason, why isnt Hyperworks 2021 not working? Also hyperstudy opens with a lot of errors(no module named 'alt').
