F28379 CANA & CANB Error Message

No. In one PSIM schematic, you can only use one CAN configuration block.
One CAN bus is able to communicate with multiple other CPUs.

Thank you,
Just wondering why PSIM would have this limitation? We can code around this but does PSIM see a problem allowing it?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi, Steven,,
PSIM have not received any requests for using both CAN buses on the same MPU before yours.
Generally, one CAN bus is enough to communicate with multiple CPUs.
The PSIM developers have not found the sufficient demands in its customers to develop the code for using both.
If necessary to use both CAN buses, please consider using another Altair product "Embed".
You may use PSIM's FMI Module to interface PSIM with Embed.
You may also use PSIM-Embed Wrapper to generates a DLL block for controller implementations inside PSIM and export it to Embed.

Thanks again for the quick reply Rhonda!
Who would I ask for this change request?

We can forward your suggestion to the development team. They will evaluate the market demand and decide whether to add this feature.

Hi, Marco,
Please ask your new question in a new thread.

Hello everyone,
I'm currently working with an F28379D and need to send 3 different CAN messages, each with a unique ID, at the same frequency. However, when I monitor the CAN bus using a CAN bus analyzer, only one of the messages is recognized. If I change the frequency, all messages are detected, but I need them to be sent at the same frequency.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to ensure all three messages are correctly recognized at the same frequency?
Thank you!

Hi, Luis,
Please bring your question to a new post because your question is on a different topic than this one.
Also, please attach your PSIM schematic so we can help you to check and debug.Sincerely.
