thank you for your reply. Yes, I know the general idea of shape optimization you sent me. I was searching for the important factors that have a great influence on free shape optimization and I came across "DOPTPRM, SHAPEOPT" which defines an optional parameter to select an alternative shape optimization algorithm but I don't know exactly these alternative shape optimization algorithm.
