Seeking Help with Topology Optimization Results and Remeshing for Shape Optimization

Hello all,

does anyone here have any idea and can help me? i have run a topology optimization task and with the help of OSSmooth i got the optimized part out. Unfortunately due to poor meshing and poor quality I can't run a meaningful shape optimization though I have selected remesh in Ossmooth. Then I wanted to ask if anyone has any idea what else I can do? so remesh doesn't make any difference then I thought maybe I can get the geometry of the part out as a solid, mesh it again and then optimize the shape. but how that is possible I don't know. that help is nice of you.

You can add the "PARAM, CHECKEL, NO" card . This allows the analysis to be carried out regardless of the quality of the elements. However, you have to bear in mind that this can bias the results. I only used it for an initial validation.

    PARAM, CHECKEL (altair.com)

Besides, I think that it would be better if you use the tool Rebuild to improve the mesh quality obtained after Ossmooth.

    Rebuild Mesh (altair.com)

Finally, as you said, you can reconstruct the geometry and the mesh.

I hope it can help you

yes I wanted to continue with rebuild but since my meshing is 3D that is no longer possible and as you said no check for ignoring the error message does not help because it leads to wrong results
