Could you explain me what "Order=1" stands for?

Hello,

I am running MotionSolve and it shows some information like below.

In my understanding, "H" stands for time step size and "Max Phi" stands for residual (error by constraint), am I correct?

My questions are;

1. I can't find explanation for "Order", could you explain me what this means?

2. Is there any typical value or level for "Max Phi" to guarantee accurate result?

3. Can I write information in below window as ASCII file?

Hi Yoseob,

Yes, H stands for step size and Max Phi is the maximum residual.

Order is the current Integrator order, Higher orders lead to higher accuracy, but lower stability in the numerical method. 

"Max Phi" less than your constraint tolerance guarantees the accurate results and it is taken care by MotionSolve to ensure it is satisfied

The information in the window is available in the .log file.
