Automatic recognition of contact surfaces
Hello,
I am performing a structural simulation in Simlab. I have imported the CAD model and created the mesh. But it is an assembly, and I have to define the contacts between parts. Is there in Simlab a command to automatize this task? For example when you import in Simsolid it recognizes contacts automatically and show them. All contacts in my model are bonded contacts, how can I define it? Regards.

Hi,
Attached video is a simple structural simulation video. In this video, go to 0.59 sec. It will show you how to create auto contact creation for an assembly.

Thank you very much for your good response.
I have defined a model, but now I have the next error and I can't continue with simulation:
************************************************************************
Errors reported during program execution
hwsolver.mesg output from the solver:
==============================
*** PROGRAM STOPPED: ERRORS DURING ELEMENT QUALITY CHECK.
1- I want to check the elements that give me this error. How can I find them?
2- Also I want to know about the posibility to undo these checks: If I know that the interest region is meshed with good quality, is it possible in Simlab to undo this?
Thank you.
