Setting fault occurence time in the Fault Analysis toolbox

I am trying to play around with the fault analysis toolbox in PSIM. Is there a way to specify when the fault will happen, instead of applying the fault at the start of the simulation? I want to see my power supply running normally then apply a fault at say x ms after so that I'll be able to see the transition of voltages/currents from normal going to the fault. Any suggestions?

Hi,

The fault analysis toolbox doesn't have option for time setting.  But there is a way to do this within PSIM.

Step1: Run the normal simulation for x1 ms. save this by using save flag option in simulation control.

Step 2: Change time to x2 ms. Now change the save flag to '0'. load flag to '1'. Now run the fault analysis.

 

We can see normal run up to x1 ms and fault condition from x1 ms to x2 ms.
