How to import loads from acusolve to radioss?

Hi, I'm Yasmin. Currently, I'm doing my final year project entitle Modelling and Analysis of process pipework affected by flow induced vibration.

In my methodology, I need to do the one-way FSI analysis. I already did the CFD Analysis and obtain the pressure and velocity magnitude for my model, then I need to transfer the pressure load in to the FEA Analysis. However, I'm not sure to transfer to Radioss or Optistruct. But what I want to analyze is the stress and deformation of my model using the pressure loads obtain from the Acusolve.

Can anyone help me, and also provide the tutorial on how to do the one way FSI analysis.

Hi Hakan, thank you for your reply. I've tried the solution from the above review topic. However, the method to transfer the data is not suitable for my model as the optistruct stops responding as I input the pressure file. Maybe due to the complexity of the model. Do you have any other solution that can help me?

    hi,

I think oneway coupling should only be done on steady state analysis.

If you run transient CFD, you should try 2-ways FSI or direct coupling FSI.

There is a tutorial from acusolve about this. You can find it in the help session.
