API: multiple-fields, doesn't the one-way transient coupling with edem-acslover use the same formula algorithm? I used two methods for coupling, and the results were very different.

Hi xixihaha
In principle, it is the same. However, with a unidirectional coupling, the drag forces are calculated by AcuSolve and with the field coupling, the drag forces are calculated by EDEM. Are you using the same drag models in both cases?
Also, AcuSolve has a new field at every CFD timestep which is then used to calculate the appropriate drag forces. With field coupling, if your field frequency is lesser than that of AcuSolve, then you may see differences because of that also.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,Jerrin Job

Thank you very much, I will double check
