Punctual masses

Hello:

I have constructed a model by importing a geometry, creating a control volume around it and substracting (boolean) the geometry volume from the volume of control and using the result. It has properties of air, but now I would like to set punctual masses so that I can analyze gravity effects. May be it is incompatible with this form of modelling. How could I do it?

Thank you.

Can you describe more about your simulation model - maybe include pictures and include boundary conditions?  Are you trying to compare the CFD results with and without the gravity body force applied to the fluid volume?  Or are you trying to do a particle tracking simulation?

I have a leading edge immersed in a meshed fluid volume and what I want to do is compare the CFD results with and without the gravity. I have done now the analysis without gravity subtracting the volume of the leading edge from the surrounding volume, so that what it remains is all fluid domain. But now I want to include the masses of some equipment that will be installed in that leading edge, and of course the structural mass but concentrated in a point too, like a center of masses. (Although the image is 2D, the masses should be located in different positions of the perpendicular coordinate).

Not 100% sure I understand the application/goal here.

The CFD simulation captures the fluid flow around what is in the meshed geometry/model.  If you want to see how the fluid moves around the bodies, those bodies need to be included in the geometry so they are then captured/resolved by the mesh.
