I can't still import the stmod file..

Thank you for confirming the Inspire installation path in "SimLabSetting.ini" file.

While importing the Inspire model, Parasolid file will be written in the model folder and it will be deleted after import.

Could you please check the write permission for the model folder?

Also, please put the Inspire model in the Desktop and import.

Kindly check this and let me know.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Santhoshkumar

    Hello GyeongJun,

The information regarding the connection between SimLab and Inspire is stored in the “\.altair\SimLab_V2023.1\simlab\SimLabSetting.ini" file.

Kindly delete the .altair folder and reconfigure the Inspire 2023.1 version with SimLab 2023.1 and import the Inspire model.

If it still fails, kindly share the Inspire model. I will check and get back you.

Note: Before deleting the .altair folder for SimLab 2023.1 version, kindly take a back up.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Santhoshkumar

Hello. Thank you for your opinion.

'SimLabSetting.ini' doesn't exist in the location you gave me.

But, the file is stored in the "Altair\2023.1\Inspire2023.1\hwx\bin\win64\hw\hmbatch\hm\scripts\HyperMold\RTM\simlab_meshing" and "Altair\2022.3\hwdesktop\hm\scripts\HyperXtrude\simlab_meshing".

    Which file should I delete?

    Which file should I delete?

When you launch SimLab, it will create a folder in the .altair folder.

For example, if you open SimLab 2023.1 version, it will create "SimLab_V2023.1" folder as shown below. Kindly delete this folder.

    image

Inside the "SimLab_V2023.1\simlab" folder, there is a file named "SimLabSetting.ini" file. Inside this file, the Inspire path will be written. Kindly check this file.

If you can delete the "SimLab_V2023.1" folder from .altair, then it will ask you to reconfigure the Inspire. Once you configure Inspire, we can import the Inspire model again and check.

Could you please share the model?

    Thanks & Regards,

    Santhoshkumar

I successfully delete the file, but I can't import stmod file. It isn't still working.

I select the Inspire installation location,

    "C:\Program Files\Altair\2023.1\Inspire2023.1\hwx\bin\win64"

    Is the location correct?

I apologize for the late response to your answer.

    Thank you for your help.

SimLab successfully read the stmod file.

I think it is crucial to check write permission of "C:\Program Files\Altair\2023.1\Inspire2023.1\hwx\bin\win64".
