Hello everyone,
so i got a hypermesh file for meshing.
Now when I am dividing the geometry with cut operations like "cut by plane" the two resulting solids do not have closing surfaces at the area of the cut.
On the other hand when I delete the solid without deleting its surfaces and than cut the surfaces I can use the 'file cuts' checkbox and a bounding surface is generated.
What can I do to change this? Is my geometry broken?
As far as I know the file was generated by importing a step file.
