Student license renewal

Hello,
Can somebody help me out with renewing a student license for Altair products?

When I turn on Altair products I can see a message "One or more of the required features checked out will expire in 30 day(s)".

I went on a website https://altairuniversity.com/free-altair-student-edition/ and requested a new license - I mentioned in the notes that I have one that is about to expire. I got accepted and Altair send me a new license file. I put the file in a folder where I had my previous license and just to be sure I removed old environment variable and created a new one with new license file (I also removed old license file from that folder). Unfortunately I still see the same message when I turn on Altair products so it didn't work.

Can somebody tell me what to do to get my license renewed? Is there another process to follow or am I making a mistake somewhere? I would appreciate some advice, thank you in advance.

I solved my own problem, I will tell you what I did in case somebody else is running into the same issue.

I was missing one step which is placing the new license file in security folder.

"Activate by placing in security folder:

Place the license file into the Altair_installation_directory/security folder. The programs automatically look here and as long as its named correctly then you will be all set."
