Acoustic Mesh & Acoustic Boundary
Hello,
During my PhD thesis, I need to simulate vibro-acoustic behaviour of a PMSM. Therefore, forces are exported from Flux 2D and Frequency Modal Analysis is done and acceleration on the motor geometry is available, yet I need to simulate the acoustic noise around my motor at any arbitrary point.
My main question is how to perform the acoustic mesh, acoustic boundary & define remote points for microphones as my fixed measuring points???
I mesh my geometry both surface and volume and click on acoustic mesh and choose elliptical method and the mesh is created, but as I observe the section cut, there is a narrow hollow space between my geometry and acoustic mesh. How Can I remove this hollow band??
After performing acoustic mesh, attributing air to the surrounding ellipse and solving the model are the next steps enough for observing Sound Pressure Level??
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello again Mr. Kumar and thank you for the help.
I watched the videos carefully for several time, yet there is no enough information on how to create the acoustic mesh surrounding the motor geometry and how to create remote microphone points as observers for SPL.
As I create an elliptical acoustic shell around my geometry and volume mesh, the meshes combine together which makes the acoustic mesh to have elements even inside my motor geometry which is wrong.
Would you please provide me with more info on this topic.
