Hi, I'm doing a dynamic analysis on a sandwich beam model with a core made up of a hyperelastic + viscoelastic material. I am using the card MATHE plus the option MATVE and, for my model, I need to set the MTIME card on INSTANT, as it says on the help: image

The problem is that in my MATHE card there is no MTIME entry, can anyone help me with this? Thanks

i believe the pre-processor does not support this option yet.

You will probably need to add this option manually into your solver deck.

You could also create and edit your material, and then import it into HyperWorks, but keeping it as a separate include file, and when running your analysis do not allow HW to overwrite your include with the correct MATHE data.

Thank you very much for the answer, could you please explain me how can i import it manually into my solver deck?

i meant that you export your model from HyperMesh, and then outside of HM, you open the .fem file into a good text editor, find MATHE data, and add the lines according to the documentation. Take care to add these lines respecting OptiStruct formatting, using 8 characters per collumn/field.

Look at the OptiStruct documentation for MATHE for placing it in the correct line/field, ok?image
