Hyperworks not working

Hello,

I'm using the HyperWorks Bundle (HyperWorks Student Edition 2022 edu), downloaded per the link sent in the email:

I reinstalled the program, deleted all Altair folder and updated Windows and all driver.

It's the same error as described in this post about the 2021 version:

the error:


started via startmenu, no difference if opened as admin or not
HyperStudy 2022: doesn't open
HyperView Player 2022: works
HyperWorks 2022: error: "Hyperworks has encountered an error and must now exit." or crash after 10 seconds
HyperWorks CFD 2022: i closed it after 10 minuted of loading, or crashed afer 10 seconds
HyperWorks Desktop 2022: crashed after 2 seconds without error
Multiscale Designer 2022: works

started directly, without the shortcut, no difference if opened as admin or not
hst.exe: doesn't open
hvp.exe: works
runhwx.exe does open, but no options
hw.exe opens, warning: "Unsupported graphics card detected. ID=ATI Technologies Inc. AMD Radeon (TM) Vega 8 Graphics. This warning will only appear once..." , only has HyperView options
MultiscaleDesigner.exe: works


opening HyperWorksDesktop with HyperWorks: File --> New --> HyperWorksDesktop: hwx.exe Invoke Error hwx has been calles without the -plugin argument. The ribbon may be blank
after closing the error: Error Hyperworks has encountered an error and must now exit.

    Hi

    It is possible that the executable/s was corrupted on download and hence you will need to completely uninstall the software and re-download the executable. It is important to first try deleting the downloaded file and downloading it again.

    If you still face issues, to make sure the file is not damaged on download, run an md5 checksum on the downloaded file (just google md5 checksum):

    1. Double click / run the Winmd5 checksum executable (download win md5 a freeware from the internet, please note we cannot be responsible for external content and info)
    2. Select the executable by clicking on the browse button or drag and drop the file into the window
    3. After running the MD5 checksum on your computer, kindly see if your MD5 checksum value matches the correct value.

    Hi

    The MD5 checksum value seems correct. I also downloaded HyperWorks 2022 (working perfectly fine on my computer) and got the same MD5 checksum value as yours.

    I followed these steps before and it did not make a difference. Today i reinstalled Windows and deleted all HP bloatware after the install. It seems like something was wrong with my Windows installation because Hyperworks now functions without any problems. Nevertheless thank you for your time.
