contact resistance

Hi, i want to ask about contact resistance produce due to force applied. How to find the value of contact resistance produced between two materials when a force is applied on top of it? i use PCONT properties between the two materials.

    the OptiStruct documentation shows how contact is handled and how contact stiffness is calculated. Try searching for 'contact'. But essentially if has a couple contact stiffness models, such as bilinear and penalty based contact stiffness/forces. I don't know the exact calculation for different materials, but it takes into account both materials for stiffness calculation. Probably the help tells you something.
