Is the coefficient of restitution of cohesive particles changed with the increased impact velocity?

Hi, everyone. My simulation model is simulating the cohesive particles' motion in a vibrated wall container. 

Different vibration frequencies and amplitudes will provide the cohesive particles with different initial velocities.

If the coefficient of restitution of the particles changed with the increased velocity?

Is the changement different for the non-cohesive and cohesive particles?

Different frequencies with different amplitudes will always give different velocities to the particles.

However, you should do the calibration with one set of experimental data to fix the co-efficient of restitution and frictional parameters.

Under different frequencies and amplitudes you're measuring a response which is your expected outcome from the given amplitude and frequency.

 

As said before moving to run the dull scale application you should calibrated the interaction and bulk material properties else the results from the simulation can't be validated with any of the physical test.
