IMPORT geometry

Hey everyone!

I am having an issue importing geometry in the STEP format. Unfortunately, the loading process gets stuck at 1% and doesn't progress further. Even the model I had successfully imported into EDEM is now not getting loaded. I've tried it on three different software versions and change a lot of unit, but the problem persists.

If anyone has any idea what is causing this issue, I would be grateful for your help!

Hi,

I tried in a couple of versions and it works OK for me. Do any other CAD files work or is it just this one.

EDEM uses the system TEMP folder which can sometimes cause read/write problems. You can set an alternative folder in Tools > Options > File Locations > Temp File which you could try setting an alternative location (any location you have read write permissions for) to see if this makes a difference.
