Why is my licence invalid

Hello,

I have downloaded the Altair Inspire Student Edition but unfortunately I am unable to use the Programm.

Right after the Software has startet, the licence setupt popup appears with the notofication "Invalid licence". I have copied the licence file in the same folder as shown here: https://altairuniversity.com/altair-student-edition-licensing/

    Unfortunately I have tried both ways (just clicking "activate" on the popup and setting an environment variable) but none of them works. Yesterday, the software worked for a short period of time until I had to close the app. As I tried to start the app again, the error shown in my last post appeared.

    Has anybody had the same error? ("ungültige Lizenz"/"invalid Licence")

    Can you once check whether the Ethernet ID of your machine matches the Ethernet ID in the license file? Or else can you run ipconfig/all in the command window and send the output here?

    Please also ensure that the license file is named correctly. Use the windows folder option/view>display file name extensions, to make sure the file is named altair_lic.dat and not altair_lic.dat.dat.
