semi-transparency in Acusolve

Hi everyone,

 

I am trying to model a relatively simple lamp (light bulb - housing/reflector - lens). How does one go about specifying semi-transparent materials in Acusolve? I am new to the program and couldn't find anything on that in the documentation so far.

AFAIK, AcuSolve does not have transparency model. It uses a enclosure based radiation model. However it might be possible to apply a heat transfer coefficient or flux to mimic this behaviour, though that would need more data and would still be approximation.
