Voltage Input in PSIM from Activate

Does PSIM have any ways to input voltage from Activate? I want to assign an voltage value that was calculated in Activate, into a PSIM block in Activate. Specifically, I want to apply PID control against voltage in PSIM block, as I can do with SignalVoltage in Modelica block.

    Hi Yubuchi-san,

Exactly for this application the cosimulation between Activate and PSIM has been introduced. You can find several examples in the demo section of Activate under Demo browser>Activate>Cosimulation>PSIM, e.g.

    PSIM model:

Thank you! I got that PWM is only a way to control voltage, correct?

By the way, let me ask one more question, does PSIM have any sensors for electric potential? I cannot find it in the library.

    Hi Minoru-san,

I'm adding one example below that I'm giving a Voltage as Input ("Voltage") and getting another one ("Vh") as output, so it's measuring the electric potential: image

    Thanks,

    João.
