How can CVG ECAD files be imported to Simlab, Hypermesh or Hyperworks?

Hello!

I am searching for a method to import ECAD files in *.cvg format into any Altair Pre-Processor. I tried Simlab's import function (File -> Import -> CAD -> ECAD), but it would accept only Zip-Files. I received the ECAD files in Zip-format wit a packed cvg inside, but trying to import this resulted in an error ("Import failed.").

As far as Hypermesh or Hyperworks are concerned, I don't know if there are any options to import ECAD files at all, maybe someone knows a method?

Hello Mr. Breuer,

Currently Simlab ECAD reader supports ODB++ only. PollEx can be used as a workaround to process gerber or vendor specific boards.
