Run Killed: ENERGY ERROR LIMIT REACHED
Hello,
I'm trying to run a simulation of a thin foam (in blue) getting compressed onto a rigid ball which is falling under gravity to run a static simulation.
When I run the simulation, the remaining time keeps increasing (almost double) and eventually the solver fails because of the error 'HIGH ENERGY LIMIT REACHED'. I changed the DT/BRICK/CST, changed the strain formulations, assigned Rigid Body properly but of no avail.
Please help me out, I'm running out of time as I'm supposed to learn Hypermesh and Radioss asap so that I can carry out my PhD research. I need help in performing Static simulations on Radioss, I tried almost all resources on Altair One and University but everything is for dynamic impact.
PLEASE HELP ME! Appreciate your time and support!

Hi
what is material law and property setting you are using for the foam?
if it were /MAT/LAW70 please Refer to the documentation
For foam, in general, you do not need to set constant time step control.
I Hope this is helpful
