CONTACT: Two parts to stay together
Hello there!
I'm currently working on my Bachelor's Final Project and I´m having a few challenges.
The elements in the following image (Figure 1) are a helmet (blue) and a foam (green). When importing the CAD files their relative positions were as seen in the image.
I want them to stay together as in the image. How could I achieve this?
On the other hand, I've created contact between them in two different ways, each one separately: 'Contact Surfaces' and 'Contac Pairs'. Does this achieve what I asked above?

Yes, contact seems appropriate in this case. Depending on what behavior you want will determine which kind of contact to use. Review the "Contact Interface Types" section of the below help page for descriptions of the different types of contact.
