Exporting from Fluxmotor to Flux for 2d Thermal analysis

After finishing my pre-design model, I would like to export it to Flux for the transience simulations but when exporting, Fluxmotor only allows me to export for Back EMF and performance test. How can i export my model and so I can run a 2d Thermal analysis and a stress analysis on Flux?

Hi again Alvaro;

To export a transient project, FluxMotor allow two tests. Back EMF and I-PSI-N.

for the moment there is no export for Thermal analysis or NVH analysis. You have to modify the project in order to make thermal computation. For the NVH analysis, it is not done directly in Flux, we are computing only magnetic forces that we can export to Optistruct for instance.

In Flux you can follow the tutorials available from the supervisor for these two topics.

Hello Alvaro;

For the thermal analysis i would suggest to keep using FluxMotor, it is now possible within FluxMotor.

But if you want to move to Flux, then please have a look first on the tutorials available from the supervisor, there is one for the IPM motor.
